When it comes down to actually using the FUJIFILM x100vi in real world scenarios, it just works. No hype or controversies, it’s an amazing camera that did the job without issues. It is an excellent upgrade from version 5.
The FUJIFILM X100VI is for me- the Insta360 Go 3S is for you.

Getting past the hype and Clickbait captions, this FUJIFILM x100vi is exactly what it is represented to be. I would say that if you find this camera isn’t good enough for you - it’s more likely that you just aren’t good enough for it.
Shooting in jpg high contrast on the M11-P
Просмотров 2 тыс.14 дней назад
Enjoying shooting with the camera I love in High Contrast jpg mode for the very first time. The Leica M11-P is my dream camera that seems to be staying in the honeymoon phase for longer than I ever expected. With the Voigtlander Nokton 35mm f/1.2 III, it made this shoot exactly what I was expecting.

Просмотров 6 тыс.14 дней назад
Get out of your own head about this 4/3 sensor and you may actually love this system. Switching to Adobe RGB vs sRGB only embeds the color space in the metadata - telling your editing program what color space to use. It does affect the jpg images but is only an embedded profile in the raw images.

I feel like criticizing people for complaining about the auto focus is unfair. There have been many reports of the camera indicating that it has acquired focus, when it hasn't. Shooting moving subjects where you have a green auto focus box, and seeing those images are not in focus isn't a bad photographer, but an issue with the camera. Fuji includes continuous auto focus, and when the camera reports that it has acquired focus, the photo should be reliably in focus. The solution shouldn't be "the right way to use the camera is to not use broken features". Fuji advertises the auto focus for "continuously moving subjects", and if the camera reports "I'm in focus" the high rate should be relatively high.

Great review, thanks! I got a cheap used Viltrox 85mm f/1.8 that I absolutely love, thinking of getting this for a walkaround lens. I had the Nikon 40mm for a few days but didn't like the sharpness wide open close up, so I returned it, but my AFS 50mm and FTZ is a bit hefty, would love something smaller but still sharp. Subbed, cheers from England.

The realisation came when I was watching this and the other video from an event: your approach is taking any piece of gear and make the best of it, concentrating on what you CAN do with it, rather than comparing it to other pieces of gear, and that's what pushes me to pick up my camera and just go and take pictures. And keeps my GAS in check as well, because you're showing how its not about any particular piece of kit, but rather how you use it. Cheers!

I photographed 2 and 3 year old family members, cast members, rides, everything. The 10 year old tech was more than fine for me. And this is a sleeper camera that I think is better than the X100V, which I also have and brought to Disney. Although to be honest, loved the X100V too, but the RX1R II just had such a good feel for me.

@@kaskoPhoto Nice to know. I wonder if Fuji are able to ramp up production to meet the crazy demand!?

@@RikMaxSpeed They are selling every unit they are making. Personally (and it is only my opinion), I would not expect them to increase capacity. Leica Q3 is in a similar position and instead of increasing production, they just announced a $300 increase in their price (increase in prices across their entire product line). Whether real or manufactured, a company gets a lot of publicity (free advertising) when a product like the X100VI is back ordered.

Lovely photos as usual John. I have just received delivery of a used 100V while I wait for the VI. I agree these cameras are fun to use and easily pocketable even in jeans front pocket. The photo quality of the V is excellent. I think I’m going to have to keep it until the VI eventually arrives. I tried the built-in flash on a coffee cup and it added a lovely sparkle. Still lots of settings to get to grips with and possibly adjust. I think you’ve sold me on your Godox set up for remote flash. Thanks for that and your channel.

Very welcome. The flash is a great add-on.

So many ask the same question about a camera being gone if I use another. No, as a matter of fact the last part of this video was made with the OSMO - two cameras for two different jobs

FYI there is a converter so you can use your Leica lenses with and without auto focus on the market . The Nikon ZF looks amazing.
